Beliau lahir di Yogyakarta pada tanggal 7 Juli 1950. Beliau meraih gelar Doktor dalam bidang Fisika Material dari Universitas Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, Prancis dengan judul disertasi \u201cDynamigue de spins Electronigues dans un Systeme Unidimensional a Couplage Ferromagnetigue\u201d. Keahlian spesifik beliau adalah Fisika Material, Paramagnetisme, Material Paramagnetik, Superkonduktor, dan Konduksi Ionik.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fd8dca7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fd8dca7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Beliau telah menulis sejumlah karya tulis ilmiah baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional, salah satunya adalah \u201cESR in al D System with a ferromagnetic Coupling\u201d yang dimuat dalam Physique Lett. 44, 561 (1983).
