Sebelum menempuh pendidikan doktoral, ia menyelesaikan gelar Magister Fisika di Universitas Gadjah Mada pada tahun 2017 dan memperoleh gelar Sarjana Fisika dari Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta pada tahun 2015. Dr. Widakdo telah menduduki berbagai jabatan penting, termasuk perannya saat ini sebagai Dosen di Departemen Fisika di Universitas Indonesia. Ia telah berkontribusi pada penelitian mutakhir sebagai Postdoctoral Research Fellow di Universitas Gadjah Mada dan Advanced Membrane Materials Research Center di National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Khususnya, prestasi luar biasa Dr. Widakdo termasuk memenangkan penghargaan R&amp;D World \u2013 Product 2022 atas karya inovatifnya pada Black Magic Carpet for Water and Power Production (BMC-WP) dalam kategori Proses\/Prototyping.
