Profil Singkat

Dr. Ariadne Juwono adalah salah satu staf di Departemen Fisika, FMIPA Universitas Indonesia. Beliau merupakan lulusan Fisika ITB. Beliau meraih gelar master dari University of South Australia dalam spesifikasi Material Engineering, sedangkan gelar Ph.D. beliau peroleh dari Monash University. Beliau aktif berpartisipasi sebagai wasit dalam L’Oreal Women in Science kompetisi yang disponsori oleh UNESCO, Dikti, dan L’oreal pada tahun 2008, serta di Kontes Peneliti Mudayang diselenggarakan oleh LIPI pada tahun 2011.

Minat penelitiannya saat ini meliputi Ilmu Material dan Nano Komposit. Judul disertasinya adalah Kelelahan dan Fraktur Nanokomposit Tanah Liat/Epoksi, dengan Prof. G. Edward sebagai ko-promotor. Atas prestasi dan kontribusinya di bidang fisika, Dr. Juwono telah dianugerahi beberapa penghargaan, termasuk: Peneliti Terbaik dalam Sains dari Universitas Indonesia pada tahun 1997.
