Efta Yudiarsah, Ph.D. lahir di Pagar Jati, Sumatera Selatan, pada 16 April 1972. Ia meraih gelar Sarjana Fisika (1997) dan Magister Fisika (2000) dari Jurusan Fisika Universitas Indonesia. Ia terpilih untuk mengikuti Program Diploma Fisika Materi Padat yang diselenggarakan oleh The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Phyicis (ICTP), di Trieste, Italia (2001-2002). Ia meraih gelar Doktor dari Jurusan Fisika Universitas Ohio pada tahun 2008, dengan disertasi berjudul Charge Transport through Molecules: Structural and Dynamical Effects.

Minat Penelitian

Fisika Materi Padat Teoritis: Sifat-sifat Pengangkutan Molekul. Efek Getaran pada Sifat-sifat Pengangkutan Molekul. Pengangkutan Spin. Bahan Magnetik dan Semikonduktor. Dinamika Nonlinier.

Mata Kuliah Sarjana: MPKT, Fisika Umum, Mekanika Klasik, Fisika Matematika, Fisika Modern, Fisika Statistik, Laboratorium tingkat lanjut.
Mata Kuliah Pascasarjana: Fisika Benda Padat, Topik Terpilih dalam Fisika Benda Padat.
