This group focuses on conducting research, development, innovation, and the application of physics-based technology that contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). It aims to brigde the gap between the advancement of physics with real-world societal needs. The group also strengthens the institution’s role in advancing environmental sustainability and green technology through a multidisciplinary approach.

It currently consists of four members with complementary areas of expertise: one researcher experienced in waste remediation and hydrogen production; one researcher focused on modeling and computation who is developing a research direction toward renewable energy technology prototypes; and two researchers specializing in instrumentation, artificial intelligence, digital data acquisition, and fuzzy logic.
