About Nuclear Medicine UI

Nuclear medicine uses radioactive material inside the body to see how organs or tissue are functioning (for diagnosis) or to target and destroy damaged or diseased organs or tissue (for treatment).

Physics holds an important role for nuclear medicine analysis and nuclear medicine research group Universitas Indonesia is actively researching and developing the best practice for nuclear medicine advancement. It is an integral part of Medical Physics and Biophysics at Physics Department, FMIPA UI
